At Mount Sinai, God didn't just give rules—He proposed to His people. "You will be my treasured possession," He declared. That's wedding language.
Israel said "I do"... then cheated on their wedding night by building a golden calf. Sound familiar? How often do we forget God's goodness and chase after other things? Yet here's the beauty: God called Moses back up the mountain and restored what was broken. He said "I do" AGAIN.
This same God sent Jesus to fulfill the law through perfect love. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. The greatest commandment? "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind" (Matthew 22:37). That's not a rule—it's an invitation to the greatest relationship you'll ever have.
